The Bladder and Bowel website provides information on bladder and bowel health to people with bladder control and bowel problems, their family and friends, carers, health professionals, service providers and researchers.

The development of the Bladder & Bowel Website is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Health and Ageing as part of the National Continence Management Strategy.

Human Solutions was contracted to redevelop and rebrand the existing Continence website as the Bladder & Bowel Website. The redesign of the Continence website required Human Solutions to complete the following tasks:

• Requirements Identification - establish an understanding of the Bladder & Bowel Website's core aims and functionality;
• Website Evaluation - assess the compliance of the existing Continence Website against the requirements defined in the requirements identification;
• Content Review - establish a Reference Group to review existing content and identify areas for new content;
• Implementation - development of the Bladder & Bowel Website to include the approved recommendations from the Website Evaluation and additional content identified from the Content Review; and
• Maintenance - ongoing management and maintenance of the Website, including hosting, content updates and reporting requirements.
