Originally from Sydney, Michael migrated to Tasmania to
undertake his Bachelor of Science at the University of Tasmania
in the early eighties. With a keen interest in design and human
computer interaction, Michael majored in computer science,
geography and statistics.
In 1987, Michael established Human Solutions to address the
need for designing and developing user centered information
systems. Over the years, Michael has worked on a plethora of
projects, from developing an executive information system for
the Reserve Bank
of Australia to designing document type definitions for
the Business
Entry Point.
Michael is an expert in designing information systems. He has
over 10 years experience in working with government, from local
councils to large federal departments. Michael has also provided
consultancy services to the Hong Kong government for the development of their BLIS.
These days, Michael is the lead information designer for
projects developed by Human Solutions, creating
clear and concise sites that address the needs of the user.
As a company director, Michael also provides strategic
direction for Human Solutions. His vision and creative skills
continue to guide the ongoing development of the company.
When not designing complex information systems, Michael can
be found four wheel driving somewhere in Central Australia.
