Nick manages the technical aspects of the software development process, and provides input to all stages of the product life cycle. He has some 20 years experience in the IT industry, spent primarily as a technical team leader and systems programmer working in a variety of production and development environments in both the private and public sectors.
He cut his ITeeth working in the Systems support group of the UK's Police National Computer, and then joined Unisys Corporate IT as Support manager for a large internal project. After landing in Australia in 1995 Nick enjoyed short-term contracts with the South Australian Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Advance Bank in Sydney and the Hydro-Electric Corporation in Tasmania before joining Human Solutions in January 1998.
At Human Solutions Nick has been intimately involved in the architectural design of a number of our larger projects, including DPIWE and eContent.
When not managing our Development team, or being managed by his young family, Nick can often be found chasing balls of various sizes, watching other people chase balls, or talking about how well they chased them. He also enjoys, with wildly varying levels of success, applying coarse fishing techniques to Tasmanian rivers and maintains a secret sympathy for the carp.
